Hey, What’s up Everyone….this is the first installment of many entries into my production, music, travels, connections and experiences within the community we all share and live in…House music has always been a passion of mine and I wish to share all that is in my world with yours! I have recently been attending Icon Collective, a music production school in LA, and my path towards Musical production has begun. I will share my experiences in my learning process, and share any new music and thoughts.

Details: What says 4th of July more than being in America’s finest city? How about being at the finest day party with Fortune 421 on the Ivy Rooftop! Our infamous 4th of July pool party is finally making it’s way back to the actual day of this year and we couldn’t be more excited! Our headliners Viceroy and Them Jeans will be brining the disco house and indie dance sounds to the main stage. While our poolside headliner DJ Theron will be dropping more of a funky electro house vibe. We’ll also be featuring the music of Gabe Vega, Brady Spear, Colourvision, Ayla Simone, Fishfonics, Beefam, J-Sin, Will Hernandez and Wattzup. Make sure to arrive early as our hours have changed to 11am – 6pm due to new city regulations. Gonna be going off like fireworks so get your tickets and tables today!!

Fortune Industries DJ Contest at Guesthouse, Stingaree Monday 10/29!

Come celebrate the next installment of Fortune’s DJ Contest Monday Night 10/29 with Headlining DJ’s Theron and Chris Devoy!

 Fortune 421 is excited to announce its third annual DJ contest taking place at Stingaree Guest House. We are joining forces for a Winter event series every Monday night with TK Productions and Pacific Magazine named The Scene. The DJ contest will kick off The Scene and take place at the beginning of the night during the months of October and November until they have crowned a winner on Monday November 26th 2012.

The contest was been built around the launch of The FAM Artists in 2010. The FAM is a collective group of house music DJs that are sponsored and marketed by Fortune 421. In an effort to foster talented artists in the San Diego area, the idea of a competition was formed to create an exciting platform for new emerging DJs to gain exposure and have the opportunity to break through. These artists will get a chance to see what it really takes to make it in the nightlife industry as a full time DJ, and in the process, The FAM may even find a shining star to join the team like 2010’s winner Kyle Flesch.

The competition will allow for eight emerging artists to perform in front of a live audience at Guest House and be judged based on crowd response, track selection, overall DJ skills, and the amount of guests brought to the venue. Each week two artists will have two 30-minute sets to try and out shine each other and advance to the next round. The qualifying rounds will take place during weeks one thru four, the semi-finals on weeks five and six, and the finals will take place on week seven, at which point a winner will be crowned!

The winning DJ will be rewarded with a paid spot in a future Stingree event in early 2013. On the night of that show, he/she will receive a $50 drink tab as well as a complementary bottle of Vodka for a group of friends. Lastly he/she will receive a Fortune 421 Clothing gift bag worth over $200. Each week during the competitions both DJs will be featured on the flyer and be given a $50 drink tab as well as one Fortune 421 t-shirt. The advancing contestant each week will win a case of Red Bull Energy Drink!

We are in the midst of the summer season this Friday at the Ivy as we bring a local San Diego music showcase! Hitting the stage in the Wine Bar will be Fortune Music’s own DJ Theron. Theron has created a name for himself all around the country for being an experienced turntablist with a supreme mix of electro. Opening up for him will be up and coming San Diego DJ Tigh. Holding it down in the nightclub will be Fortune’s Music’s G*Roy who always brings his hip-hop/house mash ups, high energy and unique style. Setting the stage for G*Roy will be Ivy resident Este. With all this talent throughout the entire building it’s safe to say the crowd is in for a treat wherever you decide to go, so be sure to get your dancing shoes on and let it all out this Friday with the Fortune 421 Family!

Fortune Industries Wonderland Fridays at The Andaz Hotel!

Wonderland premiering this Friday, March 9th!

Fortune Industries Wonderland Fridayz at Ivy Nightclub at Andaz this Friday! With DJ’s DJ Theron, D.j. FishFonics, DJ Esteban Diaz, DJ Chris DeVoy, Chris Liosi w Jason Whitmore on Sax…Lipstik San Diego special performance..hit me up for more info!

We will be having two busses running to IVY on the 9th.. The first is leaving from Tower 23 in Pacific Beach at 9:30.  The bus fare is $5 per person for both ladies and gents and includes round trip travel, liquor on the bus and entry into the venue. The second bus is coming from North county and is picking up at Rimels by Burlap in Del Mar at 10:00 PM.  The north county bus is the same price, but does not include liquor on the bus.

Also, it is free before 10:30 at Andaz..if you are already downtown and do not need a bus…  Hit me up to get listed!!
